After years of “gestation,” Wofoo Social Enterprises has begun to take shape with key service areas in Elderly Care, Youth Development, Institutional Education, Humanitarian Services, and Partnerships. Service units operating within our Wofoo Social Enterprises signify our mission and philosophy in the way we think about, manage, and deliver social services. In 2002, WF Joseph Lee Primary School became the first primary school to be on the Direct Subsidy Scheme in New Territories. In the subsequent year, Grace Nursing Home also became the first private sector operator of a Social Welfare Department tendered home, realising another pioneering milestone for Wofoo Social Enterprises in Hong Kong.
Heading towards the future, Wofoo Social Enterprises will continue to uphold its ideals and duty in corporate social responsibility, and strive for better development based on the solid work lied by our sincere and dedicated colleagues. On one hand, we will coordinate and unite all social service units to work together in sharing resources and expertise to build a better Hong Kong that ultimately contributes to a stronger Motherland. On the other hand, we hope to solidify support networks with all walks of life in Hong Kong, to facilitate more “Harmony amongst people(s) to Build Prosperity of our Home and Country.”
