Wofoo Plastics Limited, led by Chairman Mr. Joseph Lee, BBS, JP, was set up in the 1980s and remains one of the largest PVC Compounds manufacturer in the Pearl River Delta. Wofoo Social Enterprises, is the unified branding for all social services supported by Wofoo Foundation, a non-profit charitable fund of Wofoo Group. As a learning organization who cares, “Wofoo” has been adhering to its principles of “Based on Quality, Built on Care” in that we aim to provide quality product and services to our customers, whilst we contribute to society and our Motherland China.

Mr. Joseph Lee, BBS, JP is proud to have Hong Kong as his Home, rooted in China. He has ceaselessly advocated social entrepreneurship, and hopes to inspire more people to join him in “socialising social services” through his own thought and actions. Since 1970s, Mr. Lee has already been actively involved in the Rotary movement. In 1989, he was the youngest to assume the District Governorship of Rotary District 3450. This was a crucial milestone in Mr. Lee’s career as a social entrepreneur because he experienced the profound importance of “exceeding himself” in serving others. Mr. Lee’s commitment to community service was since propelled to greater heights, as he aim to do more for Hong Kong’s society.

Under the leadership of Mr. Joseph Lee, the manufacturing private enterprise that Wofoo Plastics Limited once was, became anchor to a multitude of social services that evolved to meet the needs of society. Mr. Lee adopted a market approach, and insisted on managing social services as an enterprise would in terms of being able to make the most out of limited resources, and achieving quality whilst maintaining efficiency and effectiveness.
